Case Report - Property - General Section

This help topic contains descriptions of the fields that display within the General section. Click the section's header to expand or collapse it.

Field Name	Description
*Property Class* list	The class to which the property belongs. For example, if a lost dog was recovered, select Animals from the *Property Class* list.
Date Reported text box	The date the property was reported missing, stolen, found, etc. The Calendar button may also be used to select a date. The correct format is MM/DD/YYYY.
UCR Value list	The dollar amount associated with the estimated usual, customary, and reasonable value of the property. For example, $0 to $50. You do not need to enter a dollar sign.
Initial Value list	The dollar amount associated with the estimated initial value of the property. You do not need to enter a dollar sign.
Related Offense list	The offense with which the property is associated. The *Related Offense* list only populates after you have added an offense to the case report using the Offenses page.
Insurance Company list	The company under which the property was insured.
Policy Number text box	The policy number assigned to the property by the insurance company.
*Lien Holder* text box	The name of the lender who has issued the lien on the property. For example, a bank or financial institution.
