Case Report - Subjects - Victim Information Section

Field Name Description

School Code list

The level of schooling in which the victim is enrolled. For example, College or Grades 10-12

Campus list

Used to select whether the events detailed in the case report were committed on a school campus. 

Transportation list

Used to select whether the events detailed in the case report occurred on school transportation, such as a school bus.

Response Time (minutes) text box

The amount of time, in minutes, that it took for law enforcement to respond. 

Total Time (hours) text box

The amount of time, in hours, that law enforcement was involved with the events detailed in the case report.

Action Taken list

The action taken by law enforcement. For example, Victim Advocate Contacted

Complainant list

The person who made the call for service. For example, Victim

Prior Calls list

Used to select whether the victim has made a call for service before. 

Prior Complaints text box

Used to enter the victim's complaints from a prior call for service. 

Protective Order list

Used to select whether the victim has a protective order on file.

Protective Order Filed list

Used to select whether a protected order was filed following the events detailed within the case report.

Protective Order Violation list

Used to select whether the victim's protective order was violated by the events detailed within the case report.

Victim Circumstance list

The victim's situation. For example, Domestic Violence.

Justifiable Homicide Circumstance list

The reason making the homicide justifiable. For example, Criminal Attacked Civilian

Victim by Association Indicator list

Used to select whether the victim was associated with the person who harmed them. 

Victim by Association Type list

The method of how the victim is associated with the person who harmed them. For example, Identified with.

Victim by Association Relation list

The relationship between the victim and the person who harmed them. For example, Family or Education Facility.
