Incident Report - Vehicles - Field Descriptions

This help topic contains descriptions of the fields that display on the Vehicles page.

Field Name	Description
*Role* list	The vehicle's role in the incident. For example, if the vehicle belongs to the suspect involved with the associated incident, select Suspect.

*Global Vehicle Type* list	The type of vehicle being added or edited. For example, Airplane or Passenger Car.
*VIN* text box	The vehicle identification number (VIN) assigned to the vehicle.
*Plate/Registration Number* text box	The license plate or registration number assigned to the vehicle.
*State* list	The state in which the vehicle is registered under.
*Year Registered* text box	The year the vehicle was registered.
*Expiration Date* text box	The date the vehicle's registration expires. The Calendar button may also be used to select a date. The correct format is MM/DD/YYYY.
*Plate Month* list	The month the vehicle's license plate expires.
*Plate County* list	The county in which the vehicle's license plate is registered.
Plate Type list	The type of license plate assigned to the vehicle. For example, Passenger Car.
*Make* list	The make of the vehicle. For example, Jeep.
*Model* list	The model of the vehicle. For example, Wrangler.
*Model Year* text box	The model year of the vehicle.
*Style* list	The style of the vehicle. For example, 4 DOOR HARDTOP.
*Condition* list	The condition of the vehicle.
*Primary Color* list	The primary color of the vehicle.
*Secondary Color* list	The secondary color of the vehicle.
*Interior Color* list	The color of the vehicle's interior.
*Vehicle Description* text box	A description of the vehicle. Can be used to add any distinguishing decals, marks, dents, etc.
*Engine SEC ICC Number* text box	If the vehicle is considered a commercial vehicle, this is the number assigned to it. The number assigned to commercial vehicles by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or Interstate Commerce Commerce Commission (ICC).
*Owner Applied Number* text box	Any numbers, letters, words, decals, etc. applied to the body or windows of the vehicle.
*Mileage/Hours* text box	The amount of miles the vehicle has driven.
