Scroll bar added to Select Case Offense dialog |
A scroll bar has been added to the Select Case Offense dialog to help you navigate through results on MDT/MCT, desktop, and mobile devices. |
|
Search results limited on the Select Case Offense dialog |
When the Local button is selected on the Select Case Offense dialog, the search results returned are limited to the agency associated with the case, regardless of if there is more than one agency in the local statute list. |
|
Occurred incident type does not automatically populate for pending cases |
If a case report is created using a case with a status of Pending in Enterprise Records, the Occurred Incident Type list on the General page is left as blank when the Case Report module opens. If the Occurred Incident Type list has been configured as a required field by your agency, you must select an option from it before the report can be submitted. |
|
New Most Serious check box |
A new Most Serious check box has been added to the General section of the Charges page and is used to denote which of the charges added to the arrest report is considered the most serious. By default, the Most Serious check box is automatically selected for the first charge added to the arrest report. If you select the check box for another charge, a confirmation message displays, asking you to confirm the change. |

Narrative text can be edited while reviewing a report |
Narrative text can now be edited during the review process by supervisors who have the Report Writing Supervisor Edit permission enabled in Enterprise Records. For additional information on the Report Writing Supervisor Edit permission, refer to the Enterprise Records User Guide or Enterprise Records Online Help. |
|
Ability for contributing officers to edit summary narrative text added |
Contributing officers can now edit the text entered by another user on the Summary Narrative page.
|
|
Ability for all contributing officers to submit report for review added |
Previously, only the primary contributing officer to a report could submit it for review. Now, reports can be submitted for review by any user contributing to it as long as each contributor has marked their work as complete using the Report Complete toggle. However, if your agency still wants to restrict submission to the primary contributing officer, they can do so using the Primary Submit Only toggles in the Mobilty Portal. For additional information on the Primary Submit Only toggles, refer to the Mobility Portal Online Help. |

Submit Offense check boxes now use Enterprise Records configuration |
The Submit Offense check boxes, which display on the General section for arrest report charges and the General section for case report offenses, have been updated to be enabled based on the State-Reportable check box in Enterprise Records:
Note that you can still select or clear the Submit Offense check boxes regardless of whether they are selected by default. Clearing the check boxes are useful in instances such as when there are duplicated crime codes for statutes as only one needs to be selected for submission For additional information on the State-Reportable check box, refer to the Enterprise Records Online Help. |
|
Date of birth and global subject sub-type must match for a person |
After entering the date of birth for a person in any of the Date of Birth text boxes, Report Writing now automatically determines whether they are an adult or juvenile based on the configuration set in Enterprise Records' Minimum Adult Age text box. It then compares that with the selection made from the Global Subject Sub-Type list. If the calculated age does not match the global subject sub-type selected, an error message displays below the Date of Birth text box. For example, consider the following:
Given the above scenario, error messages display below the Date of Birth text box as the person's age classifies them as an juvenile, but you marked them as an adult. For additional information on the Minimum Adult Age text box, refer to the Enterprise Records Online Help. |
|
Number of returned search results displaying on the Select Case Offense dialog increased |
Up to 100 results can now be returned on the Select Case Offense dialog when running a statute search. |

Summary Narrative page removed from follow up case reports |
The Summary Narrative page and its functionality have been removed from follow up case reports. The Summary Narrative page is still available for new case reports. |
|
New Destination Agency list |
A new Destination Agency list has been added to the General page of the Arrest Report module. This list is used to determine the corrections agency to which the arrest report should be exported to for use in the Jail Manager application's pre-booking software. Note that the Destination Agency fields must be populated for the export process to complete:

|
File extension type retained while editing name |
If you edit the name of a file attached to a report on the Documents page, its extension type is retained. For example, a report contains the photo Blue Car.png. When editing its name, you only enter Light Blue Car - without the extension type. However, as the Report Writing application retains the file's extension type, .png is automatically added at the end of the name. |
